I love my manager and the team I get to be a part of. I am learning so many valuable things to help me in my future career!
What I wish was different
The actual processing of starting the job was a little slow. I think it would be beneficial to speed the process up a little bit.

You have to stick with this job. In health care there and good and bad days. The good outweigh the bad and it is SO worth it in the end!

Advice
Work while you’re in school. In a relevant field. It’s difficult, but even just a part time job or volunteering regularly will help you more than you think.

It is okay to feel like you don't know how to do everything at first. Ask good questions when you have them because you are not expected to know everything yet as an intern.

Student Nurse / CNA
April 2018 - August 2019 • Largo, FL
What I liked
Flexible scheduling. Wonderful staff to work with
What I wish was different
More CNA on staffing. There were quite a few days where the ratio was 1:20. This makes for a very difficult day and is not safe for the patients that I was helping.
Advice
If your in nursing school (past semester one) this is a great transition into working as an RN. It helped me with my studies as I often saw the patients with the disease processes we were learning. The nurses ofen times would come find me so I could see different procedures being done to help my learning. It was a wonderful experience!
