Our Mission: Turn on the science: Inspire learning. Inform policy. Improve lives.
The Science Museum of Minnesota is the region’s leading museum attraction. Its William L. McKnight-3M Omnitheater, which features a nine-story domed screen and a state-of-the-art sound system, is one of only four convertible dome theaters in the world.
The Science Museum of Minnesota is the Upper Midwest’s most popular museum, inspiring nearly a million people each year through its visitor place, outreach programs, exhibit and film production and distribution programs, and more. Among the nation’s largest and most esteemed science museums, the Science Museum conducts research, collects and preserves artifacts, produces and distributes award-winning exhibits and giant screen films, and offers educational programs for children, families, and adults.
There are many ways you can shape the Science Museum of Minnesota’s success. Whether you’re seeking a part-time job, looking to dip your toe into museum work, exploring ways to advance your career, or looking for an opportunity to share your love of science, we may have a job, internship, or volunteer position that will suit you.
The museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
