“There is a long list of things I liked during my second term with Danis. First, how involved the co-op program is during your term is very important because they are always offering to help and want to get to know the co-op students better. Also, the staff i have been able to work with are all very knowledgeable and are willing to share this knowledge with the co-op students. Another part of my internship i enjoyed was some of these projects i was able to work on and see develop throughout the summer. I worked in our drywall division so i was working on 4-5 jobs at the same time. Some of the tasks i would do would be tracking production, material takeoffs, material orders, and many other tasks that helped contribute to the success of the projects. I really liked how they give you a decent amount of responsibility and put you in situations that will set you up to be successful in the future.”

“During my internship my main responsibilities were to track material being delivered to the jobsite, labor audits, concrete tracking, and help out the project team in anyway I can. During my internship at Danis Building Construction, I had the privilege of working with an exceptionally supportive and knowledgeable project team. Each team member was approachable and generous with their time and eager to assist me in any way they could. Whenever I encountered questions or faced challenges with tasks I had never tackled before, they were quick to provide thorough answers and great advice. The assistance and encouragement from the project team were pivotal in my professional development. Each interaction provided me with new perspectives and practical skills that I can apply in future roles. This experience has not only broadened my understanding of the industry but has also laid a strong foundation for my future career path.”
