“My time in the Aviation Training department at JAARS has provided amazing first-hand experience in the mission aviation world. This fellowship afforded me a chance to see what it would be like to work for an organization I've wanted to be a part of since I first visited in 2016. Since I arrived, I have felt very encouraged in moving forward towards my goal flying for missions. I have weekly professional coaching sessions with my supervisor, from whom I have learned so much. I also get to spend an hour each week with my spiritual coach, intentionally digging deeper in my faith and seeking a closer walk with God. Spending these 11 months growing spiritually, professionally, and just as a whole person has been immeasurably valuable. Oh, and the fact that I get to combine my love of aviation and my love of Christ by piloting vision flights in JAARS' C172 is kind of amazing too. ”
